Movilizatorio
Movilizatorio is a citizen participation and social innovation laboratory founded in Colombia with offices in Bogotá, Santiago de Chile, and operations reaching Mexico, Spain, Madagascar, and South Africa. Its practice spans six capabilities — knowledge, leadership, experimentation, communication, social design, and mobilisation — treating the pipeline from research to action as a single integrated process rather than separate phases.
Flagship projects include DigiMENTE (media literacy for Latin American youth, reaching millions), Hagámonos Pazito (peacebuilding and reconciliation), and El Avispero (a digital mobilisation platform with 100,000+ participants). The organisation also published a "Manual for Authoritarian Times" — a practical guide for defending democratic space under pressure — reflecting the Latin American context where democratic innovation and democratic defence are the same work.
Movilizatorio won the Schwab Foundation Award at the World Economic Forum in 2025, recognition of its model of community-led social change at scale. The organisation reports 125+ policy victories, 25 million people reached globally, and 7,000+ people trained across Latin America.
