Accountability Round Table
The Accountability Round Table is a non-partisan coalition of professionals with backgrounds across academia, law, politics, and journalism. Its focus is on the structural conditions that allow democratic accountability to function: transparency laws, integrity commissions, ministerial conduct standards, and parliamentary oversight.
The group makes submissions to public inquiries and publishes analysis on accountability-related reform. It grew out of concerns in the mid-2000s about erosion of standards in federal and state governance.
